27 September 2018 Department staff arrange tours of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve of V. N. Glavnova and L. I. Sabirzyanova held an event “journey to the Bolgar” with students MBOU “baryatinskaya Srednyaya SHKOLA-municipal №1 with profound studying of separate subjects of Spassky municipal district of Tatarstan” dedicated to the International day of tourism. The holiday itself dates back to 1979. In the city of Torremolinos (Spain) was held a meeting of the General Assembly of the world tourism organization, which resulted in the decision to establish a world tourism day. In a short time it has gained wide popularity in many countries of the world.
As part of the program of the event, the children got acquainted with the work of archaeologists directly at the excavations, received historical information about the work of artisans, visited the Khan’s headquarters, where they shot a bow and crossbow. With special interest, the students watched a cartoon about the journey to the ancient city “Great Bolgar”. In memory of the children visiting the Bulgarian Museum-reserve left a lot of bright photos, they also received a lot of positive emotions.
