November 16, 2022. Classes in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities”.

On 16 November 2022, staff members of the Excursion Department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve held regular classes in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities” for the students of 6th-7th grades of Bolgar comprehensive school № 2 and Bolgar boarding school for children with disabilities. The lessons were held within the project “Bolgar for everyone” implemented with funds of the “Tatneft” Charity Fund.
On that day, there were two classes at once on painting glass cups. The participants were divided into two subgroups and mastered the painting on the glass in two forms: one of them continued to paint their glasses with stained glass paints.
In the other subgroup, schoolchildren tried one more way of painting glass – with acrylic paints. The students were shown a master class how to work properly with such paints on the glass. This way seemed to them easier and more accessible. Children showed their imagination and with great pleasure created each drawing. The advantage of this method is that acrylic paints dry quickly, so kids were able to take the finished work with them.
Twelve schoolchildren took part in the event.
