September 28, 2021. An event within the project “Bolgar for everybody”.

On 28 September 2021, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Ahundov N. O., Salimova G. I. and Mukhamedov V. A. held another interactive event for the students of Bolgar special boarding school for children with limited opportunities within the project “Bolgar for everybody” using the charity grant of PJSC “Tatneft”. The purpose of the event was to continue acquaintance with artisanal work of ancient town of Bolgar and to develop the perception of cultural heritage sites using means available for such children.
During the event, kids became acquainted with crafts of ancient Bulgars, with masters of this craft and the versions of painting of pottery. In the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, children saw jewelry of ancient Bolgar town, heard interesting legends about jewelry and watched a video with a master class in making painted pottery.
