On 3 April 2021, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G. I. held a lecture on “Be well” for the students of the 7th grade from Simferopol. The activity was devoted to World Health Day.
World Health Day was first marked in 1950. The date was established in conjunction with the day of formal creation of World Health Organization – a United Nations specialized agency aimed at addressing issues of health-care at the international level.
World Health Organization started functioning on 7 April 1948 when the WHO Constitution was adopted. The organization now has 194 countries from different parts of the world. During regular meetings, the most important questions relating to providing affordable health care to all inhabitants of our planet, to combat the epidemics and health monitoring are solved.
Health is the most important thing in everyone’s life. A special holiday – Health Day was created to stress the importance of staying healthy, to encourage people to keep their own strength and to learn to pay attention to the signals of the body. Health is not just the absence of disease. It is physical, mental and social well-being.
During the lecture, kids knew that it is important to move as much as possible. Children heard about healthy food, positive habits and learned how to form and follow them.
