15 January 2019. Event on the theme: “Christmas Tree-the main symbol of the New year»

On January 15, 2019 the scientific employee of the Department of Museum and educational activities of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Krivosheeva S. V. held an interactive event on the theme: “the Christmas Tree – the main symbol of the New year” for students of the 5th grade in the MBOU “BSOSH №2″of the Spassky municipal district of Tatarstan.
At this event, children got acquainted with the history of the holiday “New year” and the tradition of decorating the main symbol of the New year – spruce. Days of the winter solstice is a holiday, one of the mystical sides of which is the great mystery of opening doors between Heaven and Earth, and festively decorated spruce. And in the old days people believed that this time has magic and all the secret can descend to any person.
At the end of the event, students watched the first fairy tale about the Christmas tree, published by Hans Christian Andersen in 1844, which was called “Spruce” and which told about the fate of spruce, used as a Christmas tree.
