20 Dec 2018 the staff of the Museum of Bolgar civilization Sharifullina T. G., T. P. Kamaeva and V. A. Salnikov held the infotainment event “How to celebrate the New year, people of all latitudes of the earth” for pupils of 5-7 classes GBOU “Bulgarian school-internat for children with disabilities”. The children learned where this wonderful holiday came from and how it is celebrated in our country and in other countries, whether the New year was always celebrated on January 1. From what country did the custom to decorate the Christmas tree with Christmas toys? What was Santa Claus called in the old days? What are the traditions of the new year? On the eve of the holiday you need to hold a Christmas toy in your hands-this piece of magic that you want to believe in for the New year! And the most expensive, beautiful and favorite Christmas toys are toys made with their own hands. And the guys are actively and enthusiastically made themselves Christmas tree ball of colored paper. And then there was the fun riddles and moving fun games, such as “Winter chlopaka-Tapolca”, “Hit the snow”, “crossing the ice”, “Funny penguins”, “Snowfall”, etc. All participants upon completion of the event and were rewarded with sweet prizes. And the Museum staff introduced the children to the exhibition “the First world war of 1914-1918”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of its end. The children listened attentively to the information about the war, considered the exhibits: magazines, postcards of that time, a gun, a German helmet, a bowler hat, etc.
The event ended with a tour of the halls Of the Museum of Bulgarian civilization and vivid photographs.
