On August 21, an employee of the excursion organization department of the Bolgar Museum‑Reserve V. N. Glavnova held for 13 tourists from Ufa an informational and educational event “Our Flag is Our Pride” timed to coincide with the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
Throughout history, flags have been particularly revered and protected symbols. The state flag, as a sacred object, is accorded the highest state honors. Its dignity must be protected throughout the world. The legendary tricolor affirms the continuity of generations, strengthens the patriotic spirit, and unites different peoples to make Russia a united and strong state.
During the event, the tourists became acquainted with the flag of the Russian Federation, learned about its history, and found out what each of its colors symbolizes. The guests also watched an interesting video in which they learned about the symbols of the Russian Federation (the flag, the coat of arms, and the anthem of the Russian Federation). To reinforce the material, visitors happily put together puzzles featuring national symbols, read poems about the flag, and took part in the quiz “The Russian Flag Shrouded in Glory,” thereby learning about the importance and significance of Russia’s symbols.
