On August 14, a researcher at the “Museum of Bulgarian Civilization” department S.V. Krivosheyeva held the event “Mysteries of the Bolgar Labyrinth” for the guests of the Bolgar Museum‑Reserve.
At the museum, guests became acquainted with the history and culture of the Volga Bulgars in an interactive and educational way. On the Historical Embankment, in the form of a quest, participants had to navigate the labyrinth, answering questions on a guide map and collecting secret signs. Using the symbols they found, the girls formed the word “Bolgar” in the Turkic runic alphabet and translated it. As they navigated the maze, the event participants learned about the history of archaeological finds in Bolgar and their functional purpose. The event concluded with a visit to the natural and historical complex “Gabdrakhman’s well” where the guests got acquainted with the legend about the Sahaba.
The event participants delved into the secrets of Ancient Bolgar, gained new knowledge, and experienced a wealth of vivid impressions.
