On June 12, 2026, the head of the department of local history Sadrieva N.M. held the event “Love life! Love your Homeland! The world that keeps the people alive!” dedicated to Russia Day, as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, for guests from Kazan, as well as researchers from the A. H. Khalikov Institute of Archaeology.
Sadrieva N.M. and the trip organizer Kanafiev Ilnur – the founder of the project “Traveling with History”, an ethnography and a native land history lover, a popularizer of historical tourism, an organizer of bus tours on the author’s historical routes of Tatarstan, prepared a special program. They welcomed the dear guests at the Suvar City History Museum with a Tatar national dish – chak-chak.
The event began with a tour of the museum, followed by a discussion “Without knowing the past, you will not know the present”.
Then the visitors were attracted by an exhibition of clay products in Suvar motifs by the local craftsman-potter Safeyev Albert.
The end of the immersion in the atmosphere of ancient Suvar for the group members was a generous dastarkhan. Guests were greeted with fragrant pies and exquisite teas brewed on medicinal herbs collected on this blessed land. The director of the House of Culture Rodionova V. and the art director Shishkina M. held a master class on the correct brewing of tea and organized a circle dance of Friendship. The visit to the Suvar Museum left an indelible mark on the visitors’ hearts, awakening a sense of awe at the grandeur of the past.
