On May 5, a methodologist at the “Museum Street” department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve L. Sh. Sagirova held the event “Letter to a soldier” for children visiting the Bolgar city mosque.
The participants learned that during the war, soldiers wrote letters on notebook pages or scraps of paper, folding them into “triangles” due to a lack of envelopes. The unique form allowed them to send messages without stamps, and the recipient’s address was written on the outside.
The children wrote letters to the military personnel participating in the special military operation. In their letters, they expressed their gratitude and wished for the soldiers’ health and a speedy return home. We believe that these heartfelt messages from the children will bring good news, support, and gratitude for a peaceful sky to our soldiers.
13 people participated in the event.
