On May 5, cruise navigation opened in the Bolgar Museum-Reserve. 200 vacationers arrived at the tourist pier on the ship “K. A. Timiryazev” from Nizhny Novgorod of the “Gama” travel company. Guests from the ship were pleased with the warm spring weather and an exciting excursion. On the shore, they were greeted with a musical and theatrical program, and in the museums, the tourists learned about the history of the medieval state. The guests saw architectural monuments that are UNESCO World Heritage sites. They also visited the interactive site at the “Bolgar tea party” museum where they experienced the atmosphere of Tatar hospitality by drinking Bolgar tea with herbs and eating pancakes from the oven.
