On April 28, a methodologist at the “Museum Street” department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve L. Sh. Sagirova held the event “In the footsteps of the Mother Tongue” for 18 children attending the city mosque.
The children enthusiastically recalled the words they had learned in the previous lesson, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of lively communication and active learning.
The event also focused on the works of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. The children were happy to repeat his immortal works, drawing inspiration from the depths of folk wisdom. Then, kids enthusiastically participated in skits, demonstrating their artistic skills and teamwork abilities. The imagination was unleashed during the dramatization of the poems “The Child and the Butterfly” and “Gali and the Goat” where each child felt like a true actor, embodying the character they loved.
To reinforce the learning process in a fun and engaging way, the children were invited to participate in the exciting game “Berries and Vegetables.” This dynamic and fun quiz allowed children not only to repeat the names, but also to develop their quick-wittedness, attention and reaction speed. The event ended with a cozy tea party.
