On April 23, an employee of the department of museum and educational activities of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve D.P. Hramov held an information and educational event “The legacy of ancient Bolgar” for tourists from Ulyanovsk.
The participants of the event had an exciting experience of immersing themselves in the history and architecture of one of the oldest cities in our land, Bolgar. Through a captivating story, the guests learned about the origins of this city. Then, in an interactive form, they got acquainted with the architectural monuments of the 13th-14th centuries, learned about the purpose of these structures, the features of their decoration, the secrets of their construction, and the role of Bolgar as the center of the political, economic and cultural life of the Golden Horde.
