On April 24, 2026, the staff of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve joined the World Educational Action “Tatarcha Dictation”, which will be held from April 24 to 26 for everyone in various cities of Russia and the world, and is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. His work has had a huge impact on the development of the Tatar language, literature, and national identity. The action is aimed at testing the level of literacy in the Tatar language and promoting the native language. This large-scale event brings together thousands of people who care about the Tatar language: schoolchildren, students, teachers, scientists, cultural and educational figures, journalists, creative people, as well as representatives of other nationalities who study the Tatar language and treat it with respect.
