On April 23, an employee of the excursion organization department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.R. Galimullina held the event “Cherished triangles” for seven students of the 3rd grade of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
During the event, children watched a colorful presentation and imitation of front-line triangular letters. The children learned about fragments of texts from some of the letters from the past, which helped them to imagine what our compatriots felt in those distant and harsh days. Even in the most desperate situations, soldiers found the strength to write touching letters to their loved ones, and years after the war, some of these lines still touch the heart. It can be said that front-line letters are priceless human documents, testimonies of the Great Patriotic War, of the resilience and courage, of the ardent devotion of our soldiers to their Motherland.
At the end of the event, the students drew drawings and wrote letters with words of support for the soldiers who are carrying out combat missions in the SMO zone. After all, it has long been known how important support is for a person who is far from home and is carrying out his difficult service. The letters were traditionally folded into triangles, as it was in the distant and formidable years of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
