On April 20, researchers of the excursion department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.O. Ahundov, G.M. Musina and O.P. Osintseva held the event “It’s scary to remember, but it’s impossible to forget” dedicated to the memory day “No Statute of Limitations”. The event aims to expand children’s knowledge about the victims among Soviet civilians and the Nazi crimes during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
During the event, the children learned about the concept of “genocide” and the history of the Nazi genocide against the Soviet population. They watched a video about the “No Statute of Limitations” project, answered questions and recited poems.
The event was held at Bolgar cadet boarding school with 18 students from grades 7-10.
