On April 15, 2026, the Bolgar Museum-Reserve hosted a comprehensive promotional tour for representatives of tour operators from Russian cities such as Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Naberezhnye Chelny and Chistopol. The event focused on highlighting the museum’s capabilities for accommodating tourist groups and individual visitors in anticipation of the upcoming season.
The tour guests visited the museum’s key sites: Museum Street, the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the Memorial Sign, architectural monuments, the White Mosque, and the camel farm, a unique cultural and historical complex in the region. In addition, the tour operators were shown the city’s food outlets including the “Regina” restaurant, the “Nailya” cafe, the “Bolgar” cafe, the “Leisan” cafe, and the “Zuleikha” cafe where they could enjoy the local cuisine and hospitality.
The museum-reserve is actively preparing for the arrival of tourists, improving its infrastructure and expanding its programs for guests of all ages. We hope that the new season will bring even more visitors and allow us to better introduce the rich heritage of Volga Bulgaria to the world.
