On April 7, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve O.P. Osintseva held the event “Easter is at the gates again” for the children of the “Kolosok” kindergarten, which was dedicated to the bright holiday of Easter.
During the event, kids learned about the history and customs of the holiday, and painted Easter eggs with colorful paints. For children, there is no greater joy than making handmade crafts for the holiday. During the Easter egg painting, the small participants tried their best and showed their imagination and creativity. They were happy to show their work.
At the end of the event, the children took part in the “Egg Rolling” competition, which was very exciting.
This event helps to revive traditions and gives children a basic understanding of the spiritual heritage of the Orthodox people, and respect for Orthodox holidays.
