On April 11, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.O. Ahundov held the event “The first in the world – the first in space” for students from Kazan, which was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight.
The students expanded and reinforced their knowledge about space, the solar system, space objects, constellation symbols, and space achievements. They also learned about the preparation of Yuri Gagarin’s flight, the first woman in space, and other cosmonauts. Archival footage from 1961 was shown. It is crucial to inform the younger generation about human achievements on a global scale to foster a sense of pride, patriotism, and motivation for self-development.
19 people attended the event.
