On March 30, 2026, history enthusiasts from Yekaterinburg visited the “Suvar” Museum of History. This was the Bormotov-Suslov family. Boris Gennadievich Bormotov, the head of the family, had visited the museum several years ago. He was greatly impressed by his visit. Now he decided to bring his relatives on a tour.
The head of the “Suvar” Museum N.M. Sadrieva organized an interactive game-tour for visitors called “Visiting the Ruler of Suvar.” The tour took visitors to the ancient and beautiful city of Suvar.
Boris Suslov was invited to play the role of the leader of the Suvar tribe in the game. Based on the leading questions, he was able to recreate and highlight the history of the emergence of the Suvar tribe in our region, the principles by which the location for the founding of the city was chosen, the occupations and everyday life of the inhabitants. The special culture of the Suvars, the significance of the achievements of the inhabitants of the city in its prosperity and giving it the status of a major center of artisanship and trade were also highlighted.
Boris performed the role of the tribe’s leader with great dignity, for which he was awarded a certificate by the museum director as the “Connoisseur of the History of Suvar for 2026.” The entire group received booklets with a brief history of Suvar. The tour and the virtual journey into the past of Suvar left a lasting impression on the tourists.
