On March 27, 2026, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Yu. A. Bitunova held an event “Historical heritage – monuments” for the students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1.
The Bolgar Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve is the northernmost monument of medieval Muslim architecture from the mid-13th to the 14th centuries. All sources, both archaeological and written, indicate that the Bulgar cities were excellent examples of high-quality architectural creativity. A colorful presentation was presented to the students, allowing them to learn about the surviving architectural monuments of the 13th-14th centuries. The children were captivated by the legends about ancient Bolgar. They enjoyed assembling puzzles depicting architectural landmarks and participating in a themed quiz where the most active participants received prizes.
Eleven students attended the event.
