On March 19, the methodologist of the “Museum Street” department L. Sh. Sagirova, together with the teacher of the kindergarten “Antoshka” A. I. Sabirova, held an unscheduled event “Nauruz Mubarakbad” dedicated to the celebration of the vernal equinox.
The children got acquainted with the history of Nauruz, the ancient festival of spring and the equinox, symbolizing the renewal of nature and the beginning of the new year according to the solar calendar. Kids learned about traditions including cooking festive dishes, folk games, tug of war and nature worship. The holiday promotes the preservation of cultural heritage and friendship of peoples.
Preschoolers, along with the heroes of the holiday – Nauruz-bike, Tatar kyzy, Shurale and Leshy, sang spring songs, played folk games: “Running in bags, with an egg in a spoon, with a rocker, with horses”, “Skullcap”, “Stream”, “Break the pot”, and welcomed spring. Competing, the children received a boost of energy, good mood and sweet prizes.
The event was attended by 24 preschoolers and 4 adults.
