On March 18, the staff of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve held an interactive event “Bolgar is the guardian of folk traditions” within the framework of the “Pushkin’s card” project for the students of Bolgar cadet boarding school.
Various craft workshops were presented to the participants of the event: pottery, leather mosaic, wood burning and making amulets with runic symbols. At the gastronomic master class on making a special tea “in Bolgar style”, the children learned how to make a fragrant collection of herbs, flowers and berries.
For fun, the medieval board games “Alquerque” and “Mill” were presented, as well as the game “Journey into the Past”, with which the participants were able to stroll through the streets of the ancient city and get acquainted with its artifacts.
The event was attended by 28 people.
