On March 18, a researcher at the excursion management department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.M. Musina held an event “Crimea is Russia” dedicated to the Day of the Reunification of Crimea and Russia for 14 preschoolers of the “Rodnichok” kindergarten.
The children visited the “Memorial Sign” museum and exhibition complex. The lesson was organized with one main goal: to tell the children about how Crimea returned home to Russia. They talked about why this event is so important for our country. Kids learned a lot of new and interesting things; they not only actively answered questions, but were also interested in new information for themselves. During the event, the children were shown the presentation “Crimea and Russia. We’re together.” They listened enthusiastically to the story about the history and facts of the March 2014 event. Kids learned why this day is called “reunification”, how it happened and how it affected Crimea and its inhabitants.
Such events are very important, because they help us not only to learn about history, but also to feel like a part of a big and strong country. The Day of the Reunification of Crimea with Russia annually unites people, reminding them of the value of historical memory and the importance of the unity of the Russian people.
