On March 3, an employee of the department of museum and educational activities of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirzyanova L.I. held an event “Journey through the sea of books” dedicated to World Writer’s Day for 10 children visiting the “House of Children’s Creativity” of the Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the event, the children learned that World Writer’s Day is celebrated on March 3. This holiday is marked by all the workers of the pen: writers, journalists, critics, editors, philology students. Awards and prizes for outstanding writers are presented to coincide with the holiday, new books presentations and meetings with writers are held.
During the event, the children learned the history of the holiday, traditions and interesting facts. The students also had a conversation about their favorite writers and books, answered the questions of the proposed quiz, solved riddles and did crossword puzzles.
