On February 27, for 10 2nd grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1 an employee of the excursion management department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M.N. held a lecture “Bolgar is the city of masters”.
At the lecture, the students got acquainted with the Bolgar crafts, which were shown at the presentation. The children were able to see the products of artisans, a wide variety of working tools, learned about their purpose and application. Kids actively participated in the conversation, asked questions themselves, and solved the thematic crossword puzzle with great interest. Using copies of archaeological finds, the children guessed the objects, what they were used for in ancient times, and which of the craftsmen made them.
On this day, the students learned a lot of new and interesting things about the work of craftsmen in ancient Bolgar.
