On February 19, the head of the “Memorial Sign” exhibition complex at the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G. I. Salimova held a patriotic event called “Honor and glory to the defenders” for the students of Bolgar cadet boarding school.
The event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day began with a discussion about the history of the holiday. The cadets, divided into teams of “Bogatyrs” and “Batyrs”, competed in contests, in knowledge of the history of the Russian army, and demonstrated agility, ingenuity and erudition in various tasks. All 13 participants received memorable souvenirs, and the most distinguished were awarded certificates.
