On February 18, the V meeting of the District Council of the fifth convocation took place at the District House of Culture where the results of the development of the Spassky district in 2025 were summarized, and the tasks for 2026 were outlined.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov; Member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the State Council Committee on Legislation and Law Enforcement Alexander Chubarov; Member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Member of the State Council Committee on Budget, Taxes, and Finance Foat Valiev, and other senior officials of the Tatarstan government, as well as representatives of various organizations and businesses in the Spassky district, experts from institutions, members of the clergy and media.
During the meeting, the participants listened to a report by Roman Islanov, the head of the Spassky district, on the results of 2025 in various fields, from agriculture to schools, kindergartens, and the implementation of republican programs and projects. Rumiya Galyautdinova, the head of the Agramakovsky rural settlement, presented her report. Vladislav Nikiforov, a self-employed resident of the city, spoke about the development of the district’s tourism industry, plans, and challenges in the field of tourism and hotel services.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov concluded the session.
At the end of the meeting, a number of specialists from organizations and enterprises of the Spassky district were awarded for their many years of fruitful work. From the Bolgar Museum-Reserve, the honorary title of “Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan” was awarded to a senior researcher R. M. Vagapov.
