On February 4, a researcher at the excursion management department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.M. Musina held an event “Stalingrad: 200 days of courage and perseverance” for 8th grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 2, dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.
During the event, the students watched a presentation, through which they became acquainted with the course of the battle, its main stages, which influenced the course of the war. Special attention was paid to the massive heroism of the defenders of the city — their incredible courage manifested itself in the heaviest battles. The children took a virtual tour of Stalingrad from different periods, and visited the Mamayev Kurgan. At the end of the lesson, they listened to the song “Silence on Mamayev Kurgan”.
13 people attended the event.
