On January 16, a researcher at the “Museum of Bulgarian Civilization” department S.V. Krivosheyeva conducted an interactive lesson “In the glow of Christmas” for 2nd grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 2.
The event was not just entertainment for children, but a real immersion into the world of folk culture and history. They completed fascinating tasks and determined the name of the topic themselves.
The students learned about ancient customs such as caroling, fortune telling and making Christmas decorations with their own hands. Special attention was paid to the signs associated with Christmas, which were passed down from generation to generation. The children learned about the biblical events that served as the basis for the holiday, and actively participated in the conversation. The discussion turned out to be lively and informative, inspiring the children to further study folk culture and history.
16 people attended the class.
