On January 15, the head of the department “Museum of Bulgarian Civilization” T.G. Zarifullina and a museum curator T.P. Kamayeva conducted an information and entertainment lesson “Christmastime: from Christmas to Epiphany” for 2nd grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1.
The children got acquainted with the history of the Christmas, Epiphany and Christmastide holidays, their rituals, symbols, omens and fortune-telling. The video “Christmastime and children’s carols” was presented to the attention of schoolchildren. Kids actively participated in the discussion of the video, solved riddles, and learned about such concepts as “carols, stargazer, bell ringer” etc. They took part in fun games and contests.: “Funny broom”, “Running in bags”, “Draw a snowman”, “Fast penguins”, “Miracles in a sieve”, “Fruit for speed”, “Snowfall” etc. Then the results of the team games and competitions were summed up. As always, friendship won, and no one was left without a sweet prize.
17 schoolchildren took part in the lesson.
