March 7, 2025. The event “Journey to the land of science”.

On March 7, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Usmanova D.O. held an event “Journey to the land of science” for 4 students of Bolgar secondary school № 2.
Every year on February 8, scientists of our country celebrate their holiday – the Day of Russian Science. The holiday is timed to the date of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Academic University (St. Petersburg State University) approved by Peter the Great.
At the event, the children learned who scientists are, what different sciences are needed for, and what recent discoveries the Russian scientists made. The pupils also shared their knowledge about the Day of Russian Science. During the event, the schoolchildren turned into scientists and found themselves in an improvised “Fun Laboratory” where they conducted interesting experiments. In the end, the children concluded that it is interesting but not easy to be scientists, but if you study diligently, you can do it all!
