March 4, 2025. Lecture “Writers of the native land”.

On March 4, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirzyanova L.I. for 17 students of Bolgar secondary school № 1 read a lecture “Writers of the native land” timed to coincide with the World Writer’s Day.
At the lecture, the students learned that March 3 is World Writer’s Day. The members of the International Congress of PEN-club established it in 1986. All workers of the pen celebrate this holiday – writers, journalists, critics, editors, students of philology. The presentation of awards, prizes to outstanding writers, presentations of new books, meetings with writers are held in conjunction with the holiday.
During the lecture, the children learned the history of the holiday, traditions and interesting facts. A conversation about favorite writers and books was held with schoolchildren. They gladly answered the questions of the quiz, guessed riddles and solved crossword puzzles.
