February 28, 2025. A lecture “Bolgar is the city of masters”.

On February 28, for the students of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M.N. held a lecture “Bolgar is the city of masters”.
At the lecture, schoolchildren became acquainted with various crafts that were developed in the city of Bolgar, such as metallurgy, blacksmithing, pottery, construction, bone-cutting, leatherwork and jewelry. At the presentation, the children were able to see the products of artisans, a wide variety of working tools of masters, learned about their purpose and application. Actively participating in the conversation and asking questions, the children learned a lot about the history of the development of crafts in the ancient Bolgar, tried to name the object by copies of archaeological finds, to understand who made it and what it was used for in ancient times. At the end of the conversation, pupils with great interest solved a crossword puzzle on the topic.
