February 4, 2025. The event “Stalingrad: 200 days of courage and fortitude”.

On February 4, 2025, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Musina G.M. for the students of Yambuhtinskaya secondary school of Spassky municipal district of RT held an event “Stalingrad: 200 days of courage and fortitude” dedicated to the Day of Military Glory of Russia – the Day of the defeat of Nazi troops by Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad.
The defense of Stalingrad is one of the most heroic pages of the war. Tatarstan residents fought valiantly for the city together with others.
The days of the Battle of Stalingrad are also notable for the fact that in order to unite and support the soldiers, the command decided to issue frontline newspapers in the languages of the peoples of the USSR.
The Battle of Stalingrad was one of the largest battles and a turning point in the course of World War II.
During the event, children learned about the memorable date “February 2, 1943”, became acquainted with the course of the battle, its main stages, as well as the military who influenced the course of the war. Pupils made a virtual tour of Mamaev Kurgan during the demonstration of the presentation. They listened to poems and songs dedicated to Stalingrad and WWII.
The event ended with an excursion to the territory of the Bolgar settlement, and the children received books as a souvenir. During the class, the students learned a lot of new and interesting things from the history of our state and native land.
Nineteen people attended the event.
