On February 4, the head of the department “Museum of Bulgarian Civilization” Zarifullina T.G. and a museum curator Kamayeva T.P. held an informational and educational event “Here the victory began its journey” dedicated to the Day of Military Glory of Russia.
The day of the defeat of the Nazi troops by the Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad is marked in our country on February 2. The pupils of the 7th grade of Bolgar secondary school No. 1 became acquainted with one of the heroic pages of the history of our country – the Battle of Stalingrad. Here, near Stalingrad, the sword of national retribution was raised, which came down in Berlin in May 1945. In 1942, the fate of the entire civilized world was decided at the walls of Stalingrad. The greatest battle in the history of wars unfolded in the interfluve of the Volga and Don rivers.
The schoolchildren watched a video film “The Battle of Stalingrad” telling about all stages of the battle. During the event, the pupils spoke about the heroes of the battle – Ya. Pavlov, V. Zaitsev, G. Koroleva, M. Panikaha and others. The children actively participated in the discussion of the movie, shared their feelings, emotions, told about their great-grandfathers, relatives – participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In memory of the fallen on the battlefields, a minute of silence was declared, and a candle of remembrance was lit.
The event was attended by 20 schoolchildren.
