November 22, 2024. A lecture “We cherish the memory of those years”.

On November 22, 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Bitunova Yu. A. delivered a lecture “We cherish the memory of those years” for the students of Bolgar secondary school № 1.
The purpose of the lecture – to bring up patriotic feelings for the homeland, pride for its heroic past, to promote the expansion of ideas about the feat of our people during the Great Patriotic War. The war of 1941-1945 became the Great Patriotic War for the Soviet people who united in the face of the threat of enslavement and destruction. The sources of victory were the heroism and courage of soldiers and commanders of the Red Army and the unparalleled labor feat of all workers on the home front. During the war years, more than 225 natives of the republic received the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Among them are five of our compatriots.
The children listened attentively to the information about our fellow countrymen – heroes of the Great Patriotic War and their heroic deeds. Pupils saw the photos of heroes – natives of our district.
Fifteen people attended the lecture.
