November 20, 2024. An event “Our beautiful samovar”.

On November 20, 2024, an employee of the department “Museum Street” of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. held an event “Our beautiful samovar” for the students of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school.
The purpose of the event was to familiarize children with the samovar, the history of its origin and appearance in Russia, to develop the ability to see the beauty of the product, to form aesthetic taste.
The children visited the museum “Bolgar Tea Party” where they got acquainted with the exposition, looked with rapturous glances at the collection of samovars of different manufacturers: Vorontsovs, Teile, Shemarins and Batashevs. The shapes of these products and signs on them – medals, stamps attracted the guests. Pupils became acquainted with the construction of samovar and with the traditions of tea drinking of different nations of the world.
Twenty-two people attended the event.
