October 16, 2024. Opening of the exhibition “Great Bolgar and Juketau. Civilization on the Volga and Kama”.________ _________ ____

On October 16, 2024, in the Museum of City History of the Chistopol State Museum-Reserve in the framework of the Round Table “Juketau – Chistopol: archaeological monuments and sacred places. Actual issues of study, preservation, use as objects of tourism”, together with the Bolgar State Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve took place the opening of the exhibition “Great Bolgar and Juketau. Civilization on the Volga and Kama”.
The exhibition presents exhibits from the funds of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve. They tell about the high level of development of material culture of the medieval state Volga Bulgaria. Also household items, military items, jewelry and ceramics are presented. Archaeological antiquities reveal various aspects of life of the local population, show with whom they traded, with whom they fought, what crafts they were engaged in.
The exhibition will continue its work until December 5, 2024.
