October 18, 2024. Opening of the exhibition of paintings “Through the eyes of the artist”.

On October 18, 2024, in the Bolgar Museum-Reserve was held the opening of the exhibition of paintings “Through the eyes of the artist” of the famous Kazan painter R. G. Zagidullin. The exhibition includes his works painted in oil. Using a powerful national color, the artist plunges the viewer into the life of the Tatar village with its way of life and habits. Ravil Zagidullin’s paintings, reflecting images of the village and picturesque views of the surrounding world, are filled with light and joy of life. He is also one of the leading artists working in the genre of historical painting. The works dedicated to the medieval history of the Tatar people show events and episodes from the history of Volga Bulgaria, the Golden Horde and the Kazan Khanate.
The exhibition opening was visited by 17 schoolchildren from Ulyanovsk.
The exhibition will continue its work until December 10, 2024.
