October 15, 2024. Interactive event “In the garden”.

On October 15, 2024, an employee of the department “Museum Street” of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. held an interactive event “In the garden” for the pupils of Bolgar secondary school № 1. The purpose of the event was to broaden the outlook of schoolchildren about the fall fieldwork, about agricultural crops, fruit trees and shrubs, to foster love for nature.
At the event, children learned that there are fall holidays associated with the harvest. The Tatar people have “Sombela”, the Chuvash people have “Chukleme”, the Russians have “Oseniny”, and the Mordovians have “Parony” (payment for good).
Pupils were offered vegetables and fruits. It was necessary to list what useful properties they have, where they are used, what dishes are prepared from them. The children listed many names of dishes and learned interesting historical facts about some vegetables. They played the game “Recognize me” (with autumn leaves), named autumn signs and guessed riddles.
