October 10, 2024. Informative and educational event “Bread is the head of everything”.

On October 10, 2024, for 11 students of the 6th grade of Bolgar boarding school for children with disabilities on the territory of the agrarian and ethnographic complex “Museum of Bread” an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M. N. held an informative and educational event “Bread is the head of everything”. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of Agricultural Workers. The purpose – to expand children’s knowledge on the topic of bread production, development of respectful attitude to agricultural labor and bread itself.
At the event, schoolchildren learned how bread “comes” to our table: they got acquainted with the history of agriculture in their native land, in the museum they saw the tools for plowing the land, processing grain and baking bread. Children walked around the territory of the Museum of Bread, went to the “House of the Miller”, looked at domestic animals in the farmyard, visited the windmill, looked in the barn and ovine, answered the questions of the quiz and with great interest guessed riddles about bread. Despite the cold weather, the children were very pleased with the walk around the museum and got a lot of pleasant impressions.
