On October 12, 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Usmanova D.O. gave a lecture “Mongol conquest” for the tourist group from Ufa in number of 11 people.
Golden Horde was one of the large states created on the place of Ulus Dzhuchi. During the reign of Batu, the territory stretched from the Altai Mountains in the east to the lower reaches of the Danube River in the west. The capital was originally called Sarai-Batu (lower reaches of the Volga), then it was renamed Sarai-Berke. Batu waged wars of conquest from 1235 and captured many countries and states.
The lecture helped to reveal the peculiarities of the internal policy of the Golden Horde state during the reign of Batu Khan, the reasons for strengthening, flourishing trade and economic development.
