October 7, 2024. Lecture “The role of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the development of science”.

On October 7, 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.O. Ahundov gave a lecture for 30 schoolchildren “The role of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the development of science” timed to coincide with the Year of Scientific and Technical Development in Tatarstan.
The Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) is a state academy of sciences of the Russian Federation, the country’s largest center of fundamental research. The main purpose of the RAS is to organize and conduct applied scientific research on the problems of natural, technical, humanitarian and social sciences, aimed at obtaining new knowledge about the laws of nature, society and human development and contributing to the technological, economic, social and cultural development of Russia. The RAS is called upon to fulfill an important mission of ensuring freedom of scientific creativity for the benefit and prosperity of the country.
Schoolchildren learned the history of the Russian Academy of Sciences, its role and contribution to national and world science.
