October 5, 2024. Opening of the exhibition “Touching the roots”.

On October 5, 2024, on the exhibition platform of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization took place the opening of the exhibition “Touching the roots” dedicated to our fellow citizen Valerian Nikolayevich Kirgizin. The date was not chosen by chance, because today the beloved artist would be 75 years old.
The exhibition presents paintings from the personal collections of the family and friends of the artist, as well as works from the funds of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
Guests of honor at the grand opening of the exhibition were Valerian’s wife and daughter, Bassam Fathi Al Balawi – chairman of the Chuvash branch of the International Public Organization “Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society” (Cheboksary), Malyshev. K. A. – first deputy chairman of the Regional Public Organization “Chuvash national-cultural autonomy in the Republic of Tatarstan”, V. M. Yaklicheva – head of the Chuvash national-cultural center of Spassky district who treated visitors of the exhibition with a loaf and a national drink.
The director of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Ziganshin R.R. and the deputy director for development Safina L.N. made welcoming speeches.
50 people – tourist groups from Kazan, Ulyanovsk and Togliatti, visited the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue to work until December 20, 2024.
