On 19 September 2024, for 11 pupils of Bolgar secondary school No.1 an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M.N. delivered an interactive lecture ‘Along the roads of Alish’s fairy tales’ with the purpose of acquaintance of schoolchildren with the biography and creativity of the Tatar children’s writer Abdulla Alish.
А. Alish was born in Spassky district. His creative work was versatile, but mostly aimed at young and middle-aged children. During the Great Patriotic War, he was taken prisoner. In the Nazi camp, he was a member of the underground resistance organized by M. Jalil, for which all participants were executed in August 1944. The heroic feat of Abdulla Alish, as well as other Soviet soldiers, is a bright example in military-patriotic education of youth.
At the lecture, schoolchildren learnt about the life and exploits of the writer, and became acquainted with his works for children. Having watched books and cartoons, the pupils remembered Alish’s fairy tales, talked about what these tales teach, and actively answered the questions of the proposed quiz.
