On 15 August 2024, at the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization took place the opening of the exhibition ‘In the footsteps of the archaeologist’. The exhibition is timed to the professional holiday of antiquities seekers – Archaeologist Day, which is celebrated on 15 August and is dedicated to Kaveev M. M. – Soviet, Russian archaeologist, specialist in the archaeology of Volga Bulgaria, who from 1984 to 1997 was deputy director for scientific work in the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve. The exhibition displays his personal belongings – photographs, working documents, as well as archaeological finds.
Guests from Kazan and Almetyevsk attended the exhibition opening.
