19 July 2024. An interactive event on ‘Visiting the loom’.

On 19 July 2024, a research assistant of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Musina G. M. held an interactive event on ‘Visiting the loom’ for 21 pupils of kindergarten ‘Rodnichok’. This event was timed to the United Day of Folklore. The children visited the art workshop where they saw a weaving loom, finished products and learnt about weaving traditions of the Volga region. Each child took part in a master-class on art painting of souvenirs. At the end, the children were given a tour of the architectural monuments of the 13th-14th centuries in the central part of the archaeological complex.
