On 8 February 2024, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve V. A. Mukhamedov gave a lecture on “Scientific achievements of Russia” for 15 10th grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 2.
Russia has always been a power with advanced science. Undoubtedly, the strength and glory of the state lies in the achievements of its scientists. If in the times of the Russian Empire, our scientists were famous as excellent theorists of fundamental sciences, in the Soviet period – as excellent engineers of the most daring and breakthrough projects, such as rocket construction. Today our country continues to preserve the traditions of the past in science.
During the lecture, schoolchildren learned about Russia’s achievements in theoretical sciences, robotization, information technology, in the design and construction of nuclear power plants.
