On November 16, 2023, the employees of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization Zarifullina T.G., Kamayeva T.P. and Salnikova V.A. held an information and cognitive lesson “We can’t live in conflicts, let’s hold hands, friends!” devoted to the International Day of Tolerance. Seventeen pupils of the 8th grade of Bolgar secondary school No. 1 attended the lesson.
On 16 November, the International Day of Tolerance is marked all over the world. The Member States of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization adopted this decision in Paris on 16 November 1995.
Very often, it is difficult for people to find a common language with other people because they are very different from each other. How to build relationships with those who are different from you, about manifestations of intolerance, characteristic features of a tolerant personality – these topics were discussed at the lesson. Children took part in various training exercises.
At the beginning and at the end of the lesson, the emotional state of the students was studied with the help of the Lüscher color test. It is noted that activity, positive mood and thirst for activity increased; negative attitude, lack of emotions, prevalence of bad mood disappeared.
